Working with me

Start from wherever you are

Many people with property on Miami Beach don't live there all year, or don't live in Florida. That's fine. The first conversation can be by phone or online, so you can start from wherever you are. My office is in Hollywood, and we can meet there by appointment when a meeting helps. Cases for Miami Beach property and residents are filed in Miami-Dade County, and I handle them.

Questions

Miami Beach questions

Do you handle evictions for landlords on Miami Beach?

Yes. I act for individual landlords and for companies, from the notice to the writ of possession carried out by the sheriff. The case is filed in the county court for Miami-Dade County, where the property is. I don't represent tenants.

A relative who lived elsewhere died owning a Miami Beach home. What happens?

If the person lived outside Florida and owned property here, a Florida case may be needed to deal with the property, usually in the county where it is, which for Miami Beach is Miami-Dade. How it works depends on how the property was owned. Tell me what you know and I'll explain the next step.

I live outside Florida. Can we work together?

Yes. The first consultation is by phone or online, so you don't need to be in Florida to start. If something later needs to be signed or discussed in person, we'll plan it around your schedule.
